Are you the kind of person who knows the centre like the back of your hand and enjoys meeting people from all over the world? Then we’d love to meet you! Marbella Adventures is looking for an enthusiastic part time guide to lead walking city tours and food tours in Marbella Old Town. You’ll be introducing small international groups to the history of Marbella, Spanish culture, and, of course, delicious local food and drinks. Depending on your interests and availability, you can also help out with other activities, such as hikes, setting up luxury picnics, and more. What we offer A fun, social part time role in the heart of Marbella Competitive pay per tour (keep in mind: this is seasonal work, with more tours in high season and fewer in low season) Work in a young, international and fun team A lot of freedom and a unique job where every tour is an adventure You are someone who Is at least 21 years old Is a true Marbella local or has lived in Spain for at least a year Lives within 20 minutes of Marbella Old Town Speaks English fluently Speaks at least basic Spanish Has an outgoing, friendly personality and feels comfortable leading groups in English Is reliable, flexible, and available in the evenings and weekends Is a true foodie and loves Spanish cuisine Important Please keep in mind that this is a part-time role and that the workload can be quite limited during the low season. Therefore, this position is not suitable for individuals who rely solely on this income. It is a great opportunity for someone who already has a stable source of income and would enjoy earning some extra money while staying busy with a fun, unique, and interesting job. As there are typically only one or two tours per day, and we sometimes also receive last-minute booking requests, we would ideally prefer candidates who live within approximately 20 minutes of Marbella Old Town, as this helps ensure the commute remains practical. What is it like to work as a city tour guide for Marbella Adventures? Based on your availability, you’ll be assigned tours that you can view in your calendar application. Before each tour, you head to the meeting point where you’ll meet your group. You can expect guests come from all over the world. A large part of our clientele is from the USA and Canada, but we also regularly welcome travellers from Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany, and even Australia. Every group is different, and that’s what makes it fun: you tune into their energy, adapt your style, and enjoy discovering the city together. We provide you with well-prepared routes, key information, and thorough training, so you always feel confident and supported. At the same time, there’s plenty of room to add your own personal touch — telling stories in your own way and bringing your own energy to each tour. You’ll guide guests through beautiful streets that change throughout the year — from lively summer evenings to cosy streets filled with Christmas lights. One evening you might be leading a tapas tour, strolling through charming alleys, sharing laughs, stories, and delicious local flavours. The next day, you could be showing people around on a sunny afternoon city tour, mixing famous highlights with hidden gems only locals know. At the end of each tour, your guests leave with big smiles, great memories, and the feeling that they’ve truly experienced Marbella — not just seen it. And as a little bonus, you’ll often receive generous tips from travellers!
