Head Chef / Kitchen Manager (Full-Time) – Baccara Deli, Marbella (Golden Mile) Baccara Deli & Market is a modern, premium deli located on Marbella’s Golden Mile, known for its high standards, strong focus on presentation, and a fast-paced environment combining deli, market, and brunch service. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations and help shape the next chapter of Baccara. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, • Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team, • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to Baccara’s standards, • Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, • Organize workflows to deliver efficient and consistent service, • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste, • Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement of the food offering, • Train and onboard new team members, ensuring routines and procedures are followed, • Work closely with management to achieve operational and financial goalsRequirements, • Formal culinary training (required), • Proven experience in a leadership role within a professional kitchen, • Experience from brunch, café, deli, or high-volume operations is an advantage, • Fluent English is essential; Spanish is considered a plus, • Strong leadership and communication skills, • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment, • High attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality, • Structured, disciplined, and capable of implementing and maintaining standards, • Hands-on approach with a willingness to lead by exampleWhat We Offer, • Full-time employment under Spanish labour regulations, • A key leadership role within an ambitious and growing business, • The opportunity to influence menus, routines, and kitchen operations, • A professional, quality-driven workplace with high standards, • An international team in a prime location on Marbella’s Golden Mile, • Primarily daytime working hours, offering a healthier work-life balance compared to traditional restaurant environments with late-night shifts, • Long-term career development opportunities As Baccara operates 365 days a year, flexibility regarding weekends and public holidays is required.
