What are we looking for? 🔎 We're AI Labs, the applied AI team inside Insud Pharma. 30 people — AI Engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers, Product Managers — building GenAI and LLM-powered tools that reach real users across trial design, patient recruitment, monitoring, and site operations. Clinical trials run on process — site coordination, sponsor reporting, monitoring visits, endless documentation. Most of that process still runs on spreadsheets, emails, and institutional memory. Someone must turn that into systems people trust and use, every day. We're looking for a ClinOps Product Owner with real clinical operations experience and a genuine interest in how GenAI and LLMs can reshape that world — someone who can speak both languages: the operational one and the technical one, without losing anything in translation. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with engineers, data scientists, and clinical operations teams, turning operational pain points into clear tasks, requirements, and shippable tools. Some weeks you're mapping out how a CRA works through a monitoring visit, so the team can build the right tool around it. Other weeks you're in a room with site staff, making sure the tool that just shipped fits how they really work. Never quite the same beat twice. This isn't a "hand off the spec and disappear" role. You'll own the bridge between clinical operations and engineering — from ideation to verification to adoption, end to end. How the team works: AI Labs operates with a startup mindset within Insud Pharma. The department is young, and the culture reflects that: flat, collaborative, and fast-moving. You will work alongside Data Scientists, AI Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Managers who are equally committed to delivering high-quality work. We hold regular demo days where teams present their work, as well as whiteboard sessions where we tackle problems together. The cross-disciplinary dynamic is genuinely strong. The office is located in central Madrid (Chamberí, near Eloy Gonzalo), well connected and situated in a vibrant part of the city. The challenge! • Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to ensure project requirements are fully understood and meet business goals., • Prioritize issue log and backlog items according to project phases and deadlines, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues to maintain project momentum., • Gather and prepare detailed requirements for the projects, including data needs, infrastructure specifications and other necessary resources., • Evaluate and monitor the performance of AI solutions against defined metrics and objectives, provide feedback and improvements., • Support development team by opening and expediting tickets related to infrastructure, IT and Cybersecurity., • Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including weekly status meetings to track progress on ongoing development. What do you need? • Proficient in Spanish and English in written and verbal communication., • Proven experience as a developer or data scientist, alternatively with experience managing AI or IT projects., • General understanding of Python, Web, Machine Learning and Cloud., • Experience in agile development, including issue tracking software such as Jira., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Good understanding of data management systems such as SQL., • A demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in engineering teams., • Experience in SaaS companies is a plus.
