Winemaker – Operations, Supply Chain & Client Interface Role Purpose The Winemaker is responsible for the operational coordination, supply chain leadership, and customer interface activities at the site. The role acts as the central bridge between Solos Sales, clients, production, and supply chain at Solos Iberia. The role focuses on client‑centric delivery and white‑label execution in a technologically advanced production environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Responsibilities • Coordinate and oversee all production‑related operations on site in alignment with commercial agreements and customer commitments., • Translate Sales forecasts, customer specifications, and white‑label requirements into executable production and operations plans., • Act as the senior on‑site authority for operational coordination, prioritization, and issue resolution., • Ensure operational processes, workflows, and capacity planning are aligned with business objectives. Supply Chain Leadership • Lead the Supply Chain team, covering sourcing, production planning, inventory management, and outbound logistics coordination., • Ensure reliable availability of wines, base products, materials, and packaging required for production and customer delivery., • Align supply chain planning with production schedules, customer timelines, and white‑label development needs., • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, service level, and cost performance., • Act as escalation point for supply‑chain‑related risks impacting production or customer fulfillment. Client Interface & Sales Coordination • Serve as the primary on‑site interface between Solos Sales, clients, and operational teams., • Coordinate customer projects from commercial handover through execution and delivery., • Provide operational feasibility, planning, and cost input during customer discussions and project scoping., • Support Sales by ensuring reliable execution, transparent communication, and professional client handling. Client Hosting & Workshops • Host customers on site, including facility visits, tastings, project reviews, and pilot demonstrations., • Design and lead customer workshops focused on production processes, dealcoholization solutions, aroma recovery, and white‑label concepts., • Represent Solos as a competent and trusted technical‑operational partner. White‑Label Product Coordination • Lead the operational coordination of white‑label product development and production in close cooperation with R&D, Production, Supply Chain, and Sales., • Ensure white‑label products are delivered according to agreed specifications, timelines, and cost targets., • Oversee scale‑up, transition into routine production, and ongoing supply reliability., • Integrate customer feedback into continuous improvement of operational execution. Cost, Budget & Financial Responsibility • Hold responsibility for production and supply chain cost control, ensuring efficient use of materials, labor, energy, and capacity., • Plan, manage, and monitor production and supply chain budgets in line with company targets., • Work closely with Finance and Management to ensure cost transparency, margin control, and profitability of customer and white‑label projects., • Provide cost and efficiency input to support pricing, quotations, and commercial decision‑making. Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication • Coordinate across Production, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, and Sales teams on site., • Ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability between technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders., • Provide structured reporting to management on operational performance, risks, and opportunities. Profile & Qualifications Professional Background • Formal background as a Winemaker or in oenology, beverage production, or related field., • Demonstrated progression into operations, production management, or supply chain leadership roles., • Strong operational and supply chain leadership skills., • Solid financial understanding, including cost control and budget management., • Structured, analytical, and solution‑oriented working style., • Commercial mindset with strong customer focus., • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a strong plus.
