ph3Position /h3pMedical Sales Representative CRM - Santa Cruz, Canary Islands (Preferred). Second location: Las Palmas. /ph3Purpose of the Job /h3pThis is a sales position where the individual is responsible for servicing the current customer base, increasing sales within that base and establishing new accounts. S/he will also effectively deal with customer complaints and recommend consignment in accounts where necessary. /ph3Roles Responsibilities /h3ulliAchieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing the sales volume to that base and establishing new accounts. /liliHas moderate authority to make sales commitments for assigned efforts and is accountable for results within established guidelines. /liliMay provide input to division-wide sales standards, practices, procedures and policies and/or tenders. /liliImplement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishing of new accounts. /liliDevelop and maintain a good understanding of Abbott Medical therapies and product(s). /liliOperating room assistance. /liliPrepare reports and drafts initial conclusions/basic analysis; perform required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans. /liliMaintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting and Quality guidelines. /liliFollow and share the best practice guidelines before and after the sales call. /liliDevelop knowledge of competition products. /liliAct as Company ambassador at all times, representing the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity while interacting with customers and assigned institutions, physicians and technicians, customer purchasing and administration. /liliProactively plan weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in his/her country/division. /liliApply the company Account Profiling system and ensure the following basic information is incorporated in the accounts: people, their preferred behavioral styles, volume of product, competitors, local politics, decision structure including decision makers, needs, brief history, proposed minimum call frequency. /liliComply with the H.C.P. guidelines. /li /ulh3Education Competencies /h3ulliBasic understanding of Abbott Medical (or similar) product lines and acquiring fair understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts. /liliBachelor's Degree Biomedical Engineer or Engineering. /lili3-5 years of successful sales experience within medical device industry. /liliWell organized and accustomed to tight deadlines. /liliExcellent personal computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point. /liliEnglish Level: B2-C1 (International Training). /liliExperience to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. /liliExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills. /liliCustomer- and results-oriented, self-starter. /liliDriver License - Mandatory. /liliTravel 50%. /li /ulh3Other Information /h3pLocation: Spain – Avda.
