At Orbital Paradigm, we develop autonomous reentry capsules for routine, fast-return transport from orbit, supporting in-space manufacturing, science, and logistics. We are looking for a Founder’s Associate Intern, to work directly with the co-founders on strategic and operational priorities across all areas of the company. This is a broad, hands-on role that provides exposure to fundraising, business development, operations, and project management. What you will do • Support the CEO in day-to-day priorities and cross-team coordination., • Conduct research to inform strategy, fundraising, and partnerships., • Prepare presentations, reports, and investor materials., • Track and follow up on key projects, deadlines, and deliverables., • Contribute to process improvements and internal organization., • Support the organization of the company’s funding round, including investor outreach, documentation, and data room preparation. What we are looking for • Strong analytical and organizational skills., • Proactive, adaptable, and able to switch quickly between topics., • Interest in startups, business strategy, and technology (space sector is a plus)., • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish., • Basic knowledge and understanding of venture capital What you will learn • Direct exposure to the challenges of building and scaling a startup., • Hands-on experience across strategy, operations, and business development., • Mentorship and close collaboration with the founders., • First-hand learning about venture capital, fundraising processes, and investor relations. Ideal experience • Familiarity with of ceramic casting and powder/fiber processing techniques, • Knowledge of glass formulation or synthesis, • Up to 2 years in a similar role or research project, • Mechanical or thermal characterization of material properties, • Experience in space-related materials or thermal protection systems What We Offer • Location: Madrid, Spain, • Remote: Hybrid (+ 2 fully remote weeks/year), • Be part of a fast-growing space startup with real responsibilities., • 30 vacation days (23 flexible, +7 during holidays).
