Applicants are reviewed each semester, and candidates are contacted based on departmental needs. /p h3Job Duties /h3 ul liTeach a variety of courses in Astronomy, Geology, or Physics based on expertise. /li liParticipate in ongoing professional development. /li liCollaborate with full‑time faculty serving as course captains. /li liComplete additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair or Academic Dean. /li /ul h3Compensation Benefits /h3 pCompensation varies by course content and ranges from b$1,297 to $3,753 per credit /b. In some cases involving low enrollment, compensation may be prorated at b10% per student /b. /p pPart‑time employees may also receive tuition waiver for Aims courses, access to the PERC (Aims gym) for employee + one guest, Aims discount program, free parking across all campuses, participation in PERA, and additional supplemental benefits and retirement options. /p h3Work Hours /h3 pDay and/or evening classes may be assigned at the bGreeley campus /b or satellite locations in bLoveland /b or bFort Lupton /b. /p h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, earth system science, or a closely related field, including at least 12 graduate credits in discipline‑specific coursework, OR /li liMaster’s degree with 18 graduate‑level credits in meteorology.
