We positively engage with personal and professional development and school improvement. /p h3ISP Teacher Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPlan, prepare and deliver lessons to up to students following our curriculum. /li liReview lessons and resources regularly to ensure they provide maximum engagement and clear opportunities for pupils to develop key linguistic skills and processes. /li liPrepare and set tests, including a baseline assessment test at the beginning of the course. /li liBe responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in their class ensuring equality of opportunity for all students. /li liBe responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. /li liTreat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position. /li liWork proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils. /li liTake responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school. /li liAny other responsibilities as requested by the pedagogical department. /li /ul h3Duties and responsibilities /h3 ul liDeliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach. /li liBe responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes and planning. /li liBe accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of pupils you teach. /li liBe aware of pupils’ capabilities, their prior knowledge and plan teaching and differentiate appropriately to build on these demonstrating knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn. /li liHave a clear understanding of the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs;
