At Melt Group, we are looking for a Commissioning Manager for a spanish multinational company in the engineering and turnkey industrial projects sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing on-site installation, commissioning, and start‑up of coil processing lines for carbon steel and stainless steel applications in the USA (Alabama) and Europe (Luxemburg and Romania). Role Purpose The Commissioning Manager will be fully responsible for leading the commissioning phase of steel plant installations, ensuring a smooth transition from erection and engineering to stable industrial operations for the client. The main objective is to transform an installed facility into a fully operational production plant, meeting performance targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual guarantees. Technical Scope The role involves commissioning complete steel plant installations, including: • Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), • Ladle Furnace (LF), • Vacuum Degassing (VD), • Continuous Casting Machine (CCM), • Material Handling Systems (MHS), • Fume Exhaust Systems (FES), • Water Treatment Plants (WTP) Key Responsibilities 1. Commissioning Planning • Define the commissioning strategy in collaboration with Project Management and Engineering., • Prepare and validate:, • Commissioning procedures, • Test protocols, • Start-up sequences, • Ensure proper execution of pre‑commissioning activities. 1. Commissioning Execution • Lead all commissioning phases:, • Pre‑commissioning, • Cold commissioning, • Hot commissioning, • Production ramp‑up, • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams:, • Mechanical, • Electrical, • Instrumentation, • Automation (Level 1 and Level 2) 1.
