ppbSener /b is currently looking for a bSite Quality Manager /b for Offshore Wind Projects in the north of Spain (Site). We are focused on engineering for the sustainability of industry and society. We are involved in the design, development and construction of power plants and their components, covering from conventional technologies such as combined cycle, biomass, etc. to new renewable and future technologies such as offshore wind, green hydrogen, management, circular economy and sustainability. The Site Quality Manager leads all on‑site quality assurance and quality control activities during fabrication, ensuring that contractors and subcontractors comply with project requirements, applicable standards, and the employer’s quality expectations. The role acts as the primary interface between the fabrication site, the project quality organization, and the contractor’s quality teams. /p h3What you will do /h3 ul liQuality Leadership Coordination ul liLead and coordinate all QA/QC activities with the contractor, ensuring fabrication works meet project requirements, standards, and codes. /li liIdentify and report inconsistencies, conflicting information, or deviations in employer or designer documentation. /li liProvide practical advice and guidance to ensure consistent quality methodologies across suppliers and project teams. /li /ul /li liInspection Surveillance Activities ul liMonitor the Supplier’s quality control system and verify its effective implementation. /li liProvide site inspection services, including welding, NDT, coating, materials, and general fabrication inspections. /li liReview and sign off relevant QC records. /li liAttend Hold and Witness Points according to approved ITPs. /li liInspect products and works to verify conformity. /li liCoordinate and attend Company inspections. /li liParticipate in FATs when required. /li /ul /li liDocumentation Review Quality Records ul liReview and accept technical specifications, Quality Plans, ITPs, procedures, and other quality documentation. /li liEnsure proper issuance, collection, filing, and traceability of QC records for the preparation of Quality Dossiers. /li liEnsure Quality Dossiers are developed and delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with project requirements. /li /ul /li liSite Quality Team Management ul liAllocate and supervise designated Site Quality Resources responsible for monitoring fabrication activities and documentation. /li liEnsure site inspectors are trained and familiar with project quality requirements. /li liMaintain effective communication and coordination among inspectors and between site and central quality teams. /li liMonitor performance of site quality personnel and ensure consistent reporting. /li /ul /li liAudits, Non‑Conformities Snag Management ul liPlan and conduct audits of suppliers and sub‑suppliers (system, process, and product). /li liManage NCRs and quality events, ensuring proper registration, follow‑up, and closure. /li liMaintain and update the package register for quality events. /li liOversee Snag List identification, tracking, and resolution prior to final acceptance of works. /li liReport regularly on site quality performance. /li /ul /li liRisk‑Based Quality Management Verification ul liSupport the implementation of a risk‑based quality approach aligned with Systems Engineering principles. /li liContribute to verification and validation processes across the fabrication scope. /li liSupport the definition and application of the project Gate Model (milestones, deliverables, acceptance criteria). /li /ul /li liContinuous Improvement Lessons Learned ul liCapture, compile, and share Lessons Learned from site quality activities. /li liContribute to the optimization of quality processes and surveillance strategies. /li liCollaborate closely with planning, interface, and change control functions. /li /ul /li /ul h3What we expect from you /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. /li liMinimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within offshore wind or comparable large‑scale industrial fabrication. /li liProven background in quality oversight for one or more of the following packages: ul liOffshore Substation Topside /li liFoundations /li /ul /li liSpecialist qualifications in inspection and testing for the relevant scope (welding, NDT, coating, electrical, civil works).
