An/a Senior Mechanical Engineer , with at least years of experience. Availability to join a stable project in Madrid. Degree: Work Model:Hybrid Work Schedule: Requirements: Several years of general experience in the industrial field, preferably in defense sector projects. Proven experience in the design and calculation of mechanical equipment and structures for: Avionics. Embedded systems. Knowledge and handling of associated regulations, including: VITA 47, 48, 74 (or others in the VITA family). ARINC 404, 601, 600. DO-160G. MIL-STD 810, 901. STANAG, DEFSTAN, or other equivalent standards in the defense environment. Specific experience in: Working in a workshop and manufacturing environment. Machining and welding procedures. On-site assembly of equipment at the customer's premises. Environmental testing (thermal, vibration, shock, etc.). Thermal and vibration/shock calculations. Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks or similar (NX, CATIA, Creo, etc.). Experience with PLM systems (PDM, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar). Knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP. Experience with simulation and calculation tools: Flotherm XT or similar for thermal analysis of equipment. Ansys Workbench or similar for structural analysis (vibration, shock, etc.). What will your responsibilities be? Lead a team of around 5 people with a high technical component. Manage deadlines and workloads, ensuring compliance with internal and external customer commitments. Support the generation of technical offers and effort and cost estimates. Support the coordination of manufacturing activities, prototyping, qualification campaigns, and production start-up. Supervise the integration of equipment with the customer, including on-site assembly and commissioning support. Participate in the design, calculation, and review of mechanical solutions for avionics systems. Define and review machining, welding, and assembly procedures, as well as the associated documentation. What we offer you?
