ppWe are a company specialising in the design and marketing of helmets, and we are expanding our engineering department with several new recruits who will cover different stages of the product development cycle: from 3D modelling and prototyping, through industrialisation and manufacturing tools, to type approval and materials research. We are looking for engineers with a passion for product development, an analytical mindset and a desire to delve deeper into a sector as demanding and specialised as the helmet industry. Depending on your experience and profile, we will guide you towards the area where you can make the greatest contribution. /p h3Responsibilities (depending on area of specialisation) /h3 ul liTo participate in the comprehensive development of the helmet throughout its life cycle: design, industrialisation, validation and certification. /li liTo work in a constructive and production‑oriented manner, ensuring that the product meets quality, functionality and regulatory requirements. /li liCollaborate across departments with the design, moulding, quality, production and type‑approval teams, integrating technical requirements from the early stages of development. /li liCoordinate with suppliers and external partners (mould makers, testing laboratories, certification bodies), including suppliers in China depending on the area. /li liPrepare and maintain rigorous technical documentation: specifications, drawings, test reports, instructions and version control with full traceability. /li liAnalyse technical issues (relating to quality, manufacturing, design or regulations), identify root causes and define corrective actions and improvements. /li liIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement: reducing weight, costs, cycle times and defects, and enhancing product safety. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liQualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Design or a similar qualification. /li liExperience: 3–6 years’ experience in industrial product development (design, industrialisation, quality or type approval). /li liLanguages: Spanish and advanced English (essential). /li liSkills: Analytical, meticulous and rigorous, with a problem‑solving mindset, able to work independently and across teams. /li /ul h3Particular importance will be attached to /h3 ul liPrevious experience in the helmet sector (motorbike, bicycle, industrial, sports or other head PPE) — a key differentiating factor in the selection process. /li liKnowledge in any of the following areas (it is not necessary to have all of them): 3D modelling using CAD software (CATIA, NX or similar), injection mould design and management, materials science (polymers, composites, foams) or product certification and standards (ECE 22.06, DOT, CCC, JIS or others). /li liExperience of working with suppliers or teams in China. Knowledge of Chinese would be an advantage. /li liKnowledge of helmet manufacturing processes: injection moulding, thermoforming, EPS/EPP foams, painting and assembly. /li liExperience in physical prototyping and product industrialisation. /li liQuality methodologies and failure analysis (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, APCC) or PLM systems. /li liThis role forms part of our commitment to workplace inclusion, which is why we welcome applications from people with a disability of 33 per cent or more. /li /ul pbAt MT Group, we are committed to equal opportunities and we value diversity in all our recruitment processes. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
