Overview In this role you lead the Manufacturing Engineering team within Spacecraft Production & AIT Spain, driving engineering activities for the AIT area. You will co-engineer industrial plans with Design Offices to deliver high-precision, low-tolerance spacecraft assemblies for EOS, EOS and TNS programs within strict clean-room protocols. You’ll manage cost and schedule targets, enable continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support bids and program execution. This is a hands-on leadership role in a highly technical, safety-conscious environment with a focus on impactful, space-grade manufacturing. Compensaciones / Beneficios • flexible working arrangements, • diversity and inclusion policy, • permanent contract, • opportunities to work on EOS and TNS programs, • cross-functional collaboration, • safety-focused environment Responsabilidades, • Lead and develop the ME production team to meet schedule, quality, cost, and safety targets, • Deliver complete Manufacturing Dossiers (planning, MBOM, assembly procedures, times, and specs) for new programs in AIT using the DDMS toolset, • Provide industrial plans and accurate ME NRC/RC cost estimates to support bidding and offers, • Coordinate with EOS and TNS stakeholders and with Program Business Lines, AIT, Environmental Testing, and mechanical/ RF/ electrical leads, • Maintain adherence to cost targets and EAC budgets with Program Managers and Finance controllers, • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the AIT area while complying with standards Requisitos principales, • Proven ME experience in space sector or high-precision environments and prior leadership of engineering teams, • Experience in Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) within space or high-precision environments, • Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills, • Advanced English and Spanish written and spoken proficiency, • Deep knowledge of spacecraft manufacturing domains (thermo-mechanical assembly, electrical hardware integration, test setup, satellite final integration) and clean-room standards, • Knowledge of special processes, laser/DEA optical alignment, tolerance stack-up, MGSE/containers, • leadership, • team management, • stakeholder coordination, • spacecraft manufacturing domains, • thermo-mechanical assembly, • electrical hardware integration
