ppThe Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding long-term partnerships with customers across the assigned region, ensuring high customer satisfaction and sustainable business growth. A key success factor in this role is the proactive identification and acquisition of new business opportunities, with a strong focus on prospecting and converting new customers. /p pThe position includes direct sales responsibilities within the defined territory as well as effective collaboration with distribution partners. In addition, the role carries accountability for achieving revenue targets, profitability, and overall market development for the ABT product portfolio. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDrive sales activities for the assigned ABT portfolio within the territory, combining account management with a strong “hunter” mindset for new business acquisition /li liProactively identify, target, and acquire new customers through structured prospecting and lead generation activities /li liDevelop and execute strategic plans to grow revenue, expand the customer base, and strengthen market presence /li liActively build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring continuous inflow of new opportunities and consistent follow-up /li liNegotiate pricing and commercial terms, and successfully close deals with both new and existing customers /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, while continuously expanding the network of new contacts and prospects /li liSupport and develop the distribution network to maximize market coverage and business potential /li liDeliver reliable sales forecasts and monitor territory performance against targets /liliProvide regular updates to management regarding pipeline development, new business acquisition, and overall sales performance /li liMonitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain competitive positioning /li liEnsure full compliance with corporate standards, including Code of Conduct, quality requirements, and internal policies /li liAttend industry trade shows, conferences and networking events. /li liMaintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liFirst experience in sales (approx. 1–5 years preferred), ideally with a strong track record in business development or new customer acquisition /li liAcademic degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline /li liExperience or knowledge in chromatography techniques (e.g., SEC, IEC, HIC) and biomolecule applications is advantageous /li liProven ability to proactively approach new customers and generate business opportunities /li liStrong communication and relationship-building skills with a results-driven mindset /li liFluent in English (written and spoken); additional European language skills are a plus /li liWillingness to travel within the assigned territory and work in a home-office-based environment, or office based in Madrid /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liA dynamic and international working environment within a motivated and collaborative team /li liThe opportunity to actively contribute ideas and shape business success, especially in expanding the customer base /li liA key role in a growing and future-oriented market segment /li liHigh degree of autonomy combined with flexible and innovative working conditions /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
