The Role Mas Maya is a fast-growing international start-up looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Digital Operations Executive to join our team based in Conil de la Frontera (on-site). This role is responsible for owning the day-to-day digital execution of the business — ensuring our website, systems, and internal tools run smoothly, stay aligned, and are consistently up to date. You’ll be the link between ideas and execution, while also acting as a go-to person for internal tech support and problem solving across the team. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys figuring things out — from improving workflows to troubleshooting issues. Key Responsibilities Shopify & Website Management • Manage and maintain our Shopify stores day-to-day, • Ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and up to date, • Keep translations aligned and consistent across all languages, • Upload and update products, pages, blogs, and landing pages, • Maintain site hygiene (broken links, UX issues, outdated content), • Support SEO implementation (metadata, structure, content updates) Email & Campaign Execution • Build and send newsletters using Klaviyo, • Upload content provided by the team into campaigns, • Ensure correct segmentation and targeting of audiences, • Maintain consistency in layout, formatting, and brand presentation Task & Workflow Ownership • Manage and prioritise incoming tasks based on business impact, • Ensure deadlines are met without constant oversight, • Bring structure to recurring operational tasks, • Make sure nothing falls through the cracks Developer Coordination • Act as the main point of contact with developers, • Translate business needs into clear, structured briefs, • Follow up on progress and ensure quality delivery, • QA test all updates before they go live Systems & Internal Tech Support • Troubleshoot day-to-day tech issues across the team, • Set up emails, accounts, computers, and printers, • Support tools such as Shopify, CRM systems, and automations, • Help keep the team operational and efficient Process Improvement • Document and improve internal workflows (SOPs), • Identify inefficiencies and suggest better ways of working, • Support implementation of new systems and tools Customer Journey & Conversion Support • Assist in improving the online customer experience, • Support optimisation of forms, quote flows, and funnels Quality Control • Ensure all work is accurate, functional, and on-brand, • Catch and resolve issues before they become problems, • Take ownership of mistakes and fix them quickly Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who takes ownership and enjoys solving problems. This is not a passive role — you will be expected to prioritise, troubleshoot, and keep operations running smoothly without constant direction. You bring: • Strong problem-solving mindset (essential), • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, • Ability to prioritise based on impact, not just urgency, • Clear communication skills, especially with developers, • Experience with Shopify (strong advantage), • Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, CRM systems, or similar, • Basic technical understanding (HTML/CSS or similar is a plus), • Ability to work independently and take responsibility, • Fluent English (required) About Mas Maya Inspired by ancient Mayan tradition, Mas Maya is an Andalusian-based company, producing eco-conscious, architectural finishes.
