We are looking for a senior technical leader with regional influence, strong leadership capabilities, and a history of building and scaling high-performing Sales Engineering teams. This role is ideal for a proven leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on field execution. About the Role The Sales Engineer Leader, EMEA is a senior leadership position responsible for defining, leading, and executing Pentera’s technical sales strategy across the entire EMEA region. You will lead a distributed Sales Engineering organization of at least 10 professionals, ensuring excellence in technical engagement, strong regional alignment, and meaningful business impact. Your leadership will shape how Pentera positions its technology, engages enterprise customers, influences product direction, and accelerates revenue across EMEA. This role blends high-level regional ownership with ongoing field presence, supporting strategic opportunities, guiding technical evaluations, and representing Pentera in executive discussions. The role requires frequent travel across EMEA. Primary Responsibilities Regional Technical Leadership • Own and lead the Sales Engineering strategy across all EMEA territories, ensuring consistent technical excellence in customer engagement and partner collaboration., • Represent Pentera as the senior technical leader in high-level executive meetings and strategic account discussions., • Lead, mentor, and scale a regional Sales Engineering team of at least 10 individuals across multiple countries., • Build a culture of excellence, collaboration, development, and accountability within the SE organization., • Drive hiring, onboarding, performance management, skills and certification development, and regional enablement programs., • Support large-scale and complex enterprise opportunities through advanced workshops, demos, architectural design sessions, and Proofs of Value., • Provide senior-level guidance during technical validation cycles, ensuring strategic alignment and successful outcomes., • Strengthen technical alignment with resellers, distributors, VARs, and MSSPs across EMEA., • Lead partner technical enablement sessions, workshops, and training to expand partner capability and influence pipeline creation., • Serve as the primary bridge between regional Sales Engineering and global Product, R&D, Marketing, and Technical Enablement functions., • Provide insights from the field to help shape product roadmap, messaging, and solution evolution., • Represent Pentera as a senior technical leader at major conferences, events, and industry forums across EMEA. Required Experience • 12 years or more in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Architecture, or customer-facing technical leadership roles in cybersecurity or enterprise software., • Proven experience leading large Sales Engineering teams of ten or more people, ideally distributed across multiple EMEA countries., • Deep technical background across IT infrastructure, Windows, Linux, Active Directory, cloud computing, networking, and cloud networking architectures., • Strong understanding of modern cloud environments including hybrid architectures, virtual networks, identity services, and security controls across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP., • Extensive experience supporting enterprise customers through complex technical sales cycles., • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and C-level leadership., • Demonstrated success in driving regional technical sales strategy, prioritization, and operational execution., • Hands-on experience operating across diverse EMEA markets and business cultures., • Fluent English; additional European languages are a strong advantage., • Background in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or security validation practices., • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams including sales, partners, and product leadership., • Passion for developing talent and scaling high-performing technical organizations.
