Maintenance Crew - Bermonds Locke Tower BridgeWe are looking for reliable and skilled Maintenance Crew members to join our hotel’s engineering team. You will assist in maintaining the hotel’s facilities, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations are safe, functional, and well-maintained. THE WORK IN YOUR HANDSCarry out routine maintenance and repairs across the hotel property Assist with preventive maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, etc.) Respond to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests promptly Monitor and report any defects or hazards in the building and equipment Support the maintenance manager in emergency repairs and troubleshooting Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs Work safely and comply with health & safety procedures Collaborate with colleagues and contractors when needed THE FIRE YOU CARRYBasic technical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or general building maintenance Ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks Team player with good communication skills Dependable and punctual Attention to detail and commitment to hotel standards Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties YOUR PROVEN TRACKPrevious experience in a maintenance or facilities role preferred Trade qualifications or certifications in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical work are a plus Understanding of health & safety procedures in a workplace setting Experience in a hotel, resort, or large property is an advantage WHAT WE LOOK FORWe’re here to rethink what a modern lifestyle hotel can be. Our properties operate 24/7; therefore, the department works on an early or late shift, on a rotating basis. You will report to the Residence Manager, supporting towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city. The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the smooth running of the Maintenance Team, implementing effective preventative and routine maintenance inspections under the guidance of the Residence Manager.
