• Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes (curries, tandoori items, biryani, breads, starters, and desserts), • Follow traditional Indian recipes while adapting to customer preferences, • Manage food preparation, cooking times, and portion control, • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards (Food Safety Level 2/3), • Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste, • Supervise kitchen assistants and junior chefs, • Ensure compliance with UK food safety and allergen regulations, • Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience as an Indian Chef or Curry Chef, • Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques, • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, • Time management and teamwork skills, • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen control
