Duties • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations., • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques., • Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and components., • Assemble parts and components as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks., • Conduct heavy lifting as required for various automotive tasks., • Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency., • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle needs and repairs., • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair., • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively., • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to automotive systems., • If you have your own tools would be ideal but not necessary, • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients., • Previous experience in equipment repair is advantageous but not mandatory. Asses required materials, tools, and equipment for specific tasks. Procure necessary materials and ensure their availability on the construction site. Organise and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for efficient use during the project. Conduct repairs and installations of various components, fixtures, and systems according to project requirements. Identify and resolve issues that arise during repairs or installations, employing problem-solving skills. Ensure proper functioning, alignment, and safety of installed components. Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices on the construction site. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper utilisation by oneself and others.
