Lands Partners is a London property company — we buy, refurbish and manage residential property across the city. Our construction team is growing, and we're looking for a Site Manager to be our eyes and ears on the ground. This is a role for someone who notices things. You'll be out on the road most days, moving between our sites across London — checking progress, photographing work, writing up what you find and dealing with the builders face to face. If something is going wrong, we want to hear it from you before it becomes a problem. Office Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–5:30pm. Friday, 9:30am–2:00pm. While the Office Hours are set, due to the nature of this position you might be required to have flexible start or end times. Office: Anna House, 214–218 High Road, South Tottenham, N15 4NP — though you'll spend most of your time out on site, not at a desk. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Visiting our sites across London to inspect ongoing construction and refurbishment work, • Photographing and documenting progress and issues on our company app (full training given), • Writing up site reports after each visit, • Speaking to builders and contractors on site — checking work is being done properly, and chasing what isn't, • Talking to neighbours and dealing with anything that comes up around our properties, • Spotting problems early and following them through until they're fixed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR This matters to us more than a CV: • You spot things. You walk onto a site and notice what isn't right., • You take action on your own. Nobody will be standing over you. You're out on the road alone most of the day, and we need to know things get done., • You're reliable. If you say you'll be somewhere, you're there., • You can talk to anyone. Builders, neighbours, tenants, council offices, building control inspectors — and stay calm and professional when the conversation is a difficult one., • You're comfortable using a smartphone app for photos and reports. It's simple, but it's a daily part of the job. ESSENTIAL • Full UK driving licence, • Right to work in the UK, • Flexibility — the nature of the work means hours can move around, and we need someone who can work with that, • Experience in construction, property or maintenance is a real advantage, but attitude matters more. If you've got the right eye and the right work ethic, we'll train you on the rest. Maintenance Operative We are looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team, carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across a range of properties. Although UCCE Ltd is London-based, our current contracts and projects are located across Oxfordshire, High Wycombe, Swindon, Slough and surrounding areas, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling to different job locations. Key Responsibilities Carry out general building and property maintenance repairs. Complete reactive repairs and planned maintenance works to a high standard. Undertake a variety of works including basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and general repairs. Identify faults and provide practical repair solutions. Work safely and in accordance with company health & safety procedures. Work professionally in occupied properties, including council and government accommodation. Complete job sheets, photographs and required documentation accurately. Liaise professionally with tenants, clients and site representatives. Complete works within agreed timescales and to a high standard. Travel between different sites as required. Requirements Previous experience in property maintenance, construction or general building works. Good practical and problem-solving skills. Ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks. Good understanding of health and safety. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Professional manner and good communication skills. Full UK driving licence is essential. Relevant trade qualifications or experience are advantageous. Willingness to travel to sites across Oxfordshire, High Wycombe, Swindon, Slough and surrounding areas.
