Self Employed Van Delivery driver job - Free Insurance, van and Diesel We are looking for reliable self-employed Van Drivers to join our team and deliver vehicle parts to local garages in South London and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a MWB van and ensuring timely deliveries to the specified locations. The daily routes are fixed and typically consist of 20-30 drops per day. Working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you finish early, you are free to leave early. Previous delivery experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. We provide the van, diesel, and insurance free of charge. Our team is seeking experienced 7.5-tonne truck drivers to assist us with transporting our equipment to our customers all around the UK. We are a UK manufacturer for Scaffold towers and Ladders, and we run, our own fleet of vehicles to do our own deliveries. We cover the whole of the UK, including Scotland. So our delivery routes can vary from 1 day routes - to 4 Day routes. Our lorry's have sleepers in them, for when drivers go out for 1 night or more at a time. We are looking to recruit self employed courier drivers to work for us on behalf of YODEL to work for us. A courier driver must be able to plan their day effectively and efficiently to ensure all parcels are succesfully delivered. The ideal Candidate will have experience within passenger transport, a valid D1 drivers’ licence and able to pass background checks according to company policies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Drive to safe and professional standards (D1/PCV standards), all vehicle types operated by MCT in accordance with the Highway Code, including adherence to traffic and parking regulations and Blue Badge provisions. • Using accessible vehicles equipped with a ramp or tail lift, transport passengers to/from designated collection points in a courteous and safe manner. Ensure passengers are correctly secured in the vehicle with a seatbelt or with the use of various specialist wheelchair securing mechanisms. • Undertake at start and finish of duty vehicle checks in accordance with legal and company requirements, report/deal with defects according to company procedures. Ensure that all necessary equipment for a day's duty is present on the vehicle and in good condition and refuel vehicles as may be required. • Assist passengers on a door-to-door basis. This involves, lifting and carry shopping and/or belongings for passengers to and from their destination, lift and carry equipment such as shopping trolleys, walking frames, folded manual wheelchairs and other aides required by the passenger. • To Manoeuvre passengers in wheelchairs of various sizes up and down kerbs and on and off the bus.
