Delivery Driver

Our team is seeking experienced 7.5-tonne truck drivers to assist us with transporting our equipment to our customers all around the UK. We are a UK manufacturer for Scaffold towers and Ladders, and we run, our own fleet of vehicles to do our own deliveries. We cover the whole of the UK, including Scotland. So our delivery routes can vary from 1 day routes - to 4 Day routes. Our lorry's have sleepers in them, for when drivers go out for 1 night or more at a time. Minimum Requirements Licence to driver 7.5 tonne lorry 21 years of age minimum No more than six points for minor endorsements Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive Excellent geographical knowledge Customer focused attitude and a natural passion for customer service Physically able to lift, load and off load items on the lorry Responsibilities: Offer a friendly service to our customers when delivering their orders Use our company app to view the customer information and mark off their deliveries/get signatures & photos contact customers via phone/message upon arrival of their delivery. Keep in contact with the customer service team, to ensure delivery slots are kept to, or customers are aware of any potential delays on your journey We are passionate about the products we manufacture on site here, and our delivery service has to reflect our business. This is for a full time position with our company. PAYE. We have enough work on now, due to expansion, to ensure you have contracted work 5 days per week. We are looking to recruit self employed courier drivers to work for us on behalf of YODEL to work for us. A courier driver must be able to plan their day effectively and efficiently to ensure all parcels are succesfully delivered. The depot is located in Mitcham CR44HX We provide a van, fuel and a daily rate, or you own your own car /van then you can work with it and be your own boss. Full training will be given. Working days are Monday to Saturday. Applicants must be 25 and over.

Merton Community Transport are Recruiting enthusiastic, friendly, and organised drivers to enable elderly and vulnerable service users to travel to various locations in and around southwest London. The ideal Candidate will have experience within passenger transport, a valid D1 drivers’ licence and able to pass background checks according to company policies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Drive to safe and professional standards (D1/PCV standards), all vehicle types operated by MCT in accordance with the Highway Code, including adherence to traffic and parking regulations and Blue Badge provisions. • Using accessible vehicles equipped with a ramp or tail lift, transport passengers to/from designated collection points in a courteous and safe manner. Ensure passengers are correctly secured in the vehicle with a seatbelt or with the use of various specialist wheelchair securing mechanisms. • Undertake at start and finish of duty vehicle checks in accordance with legal and company requirements, report/deal with defects according to company procedures. Ensure that all necessary equipment for a day's duty is present on the vehicle and in good condition and refuel vehicles as may be required. • Assist passengers on a door-to-door basis. This involves, lifting and carry shopping and/or belongings for passengers to and from their destination, lift and carry equipment such as shopping trolleys, walking frames, folded manual wheelchairs and other aides required by the passenger. • To Manoeuvre passengers in wheelchairs of various sizes up and down kerbs and on and off the bus.
