Key elements of your role as Senior Receptionist includes ensuring all our guests receive a positive, warm and professional first impression of the restaurant. You will assist the Reception Manager in the building of an efficient department, by taking an active interest in the team’s welfare, safety, and development. You’ll also be able to supervise other receptionists, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained. Conscious & creative dining in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind Fallow restaurant. Named after native deer of the British Isles, Roe will follow the same nose-to-tail and root-to-stem ethos as its critically acclaimed sister restaurant, Fallow St James’s. The extensive a la carte menu will be divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers, and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes will showcase underused and underappreciated produce. As a Receptionist at ROE, you will be responsible for providing a warm, friendly, and efficient welcome to all guests, ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. This role involves managing reservations, assisting with guest inquiries, and supporting the front-of-house team to maximize guest satisfaction and table occupancy. Key responsibilities: • Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression., • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize the dining experience., • Handle phone and email inquiries, providing accurate information and assisting with bookings., • Work closely with the front-of-house and management team to ensure seamless service., • Maintain an organized and efficient reception area., • Assist with special requests and accommodate guest needs whenever possible. Key responsibilities: • Assist in overseeing reception operations, ensuring a seamless and world-class guest experience., • Support, train, and mentor the reception team, maintaining the highest standards of service., • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize efficiency., • Handle VIP guests and high-profile clientele with discretion and professionalism., • Quickly and effectively resolve guest concerns, ensuring total satisfaction., • Work closely with the Reception Manager and front-of-house teams to refine and enhance operational procedures., • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area. About you: • Previous experience as an Assistant Reception Manager, Senior Receptionist, or similar leadership role within a high-end, fast-paced hospitality environment., • Strong leadership skills with a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience., • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities., • Impeccable customer service and communication skills., • A proactive, solution-driven approach with a keen eye for operational improvements., • The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure., • Proficient in utilizing the Seven Rooms booking system.
