We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanic to join our busy workshop. Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience) Job Summary As a Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, service, and repair a range of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You will work as part of a friendly team in a professional workshop environment. Key Responsibilities • Service and maintain cars and light commercial vehicles., • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults., • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs., • Replace worn or damaged parts., • Perform vehicle safety checks and road tests when required., • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults., • Complete work efficiently and maintain accurate job records., • Keep the workshop clean and follow all health and safety procedures. Requirements • Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic., • Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Strong attention to detail., • Good time management and communication skills., • Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred., • Full UK driving licence preferred.
