Mechanic - MasterTronic - Watford

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanic to join our busy workshop. If you are hardworking, take pride in your work, and have experience servicing and repairing vehicles, we'd like to hear from you.

Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience)

Job Summary

As a Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, service, and repair a range of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You will work as part of a friendly team in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and road tests when required.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Complete work efficiently and maintain accurate job records.
• Keep the workshop clean and follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
