This is an ideal role for someone at Quantity Surveyor level that has aspirations to progress to a senior Quantity Surveyor with the business. Demonstrate experience operating within commercial, healthcare, education, or local authority environments. An NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing is advantageous but not essential. Senior Engineer Galldris Group Location: Radlett Infrastructure and Highways Project, Hertfordshire An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer to join our London Region on our Radlett Infrastructure and Highways Project. To be considered, you will come from a Construction or Civil Engineering background and have been in the role of a Senior Engineer with section 278 and highways experience. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for the managing the engineering ensuring works are constructed to the contract drawings, specifications, procedures, and plans, whilst managing site and trainee engineers. To be considered, you will come from a Highways, Utilities or Civil Engineering background and hold relevant Supervisor accreditation under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), with demonstrable experience supervising Section 278 and highway works. The Street Works Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring street and highway works to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, contract drawings, specifications, permits, and safety standards. The role will include supervising site teams and subcontractors undertaking works on the public highway.
