Our menus have been created to highlight the best ingredients with great cooker over charcoal, ember and flame. Our popular Sunday lunches are traditional roasts slow-cooked with seasonal trimmings. Sustainable and fresh produce is supplied by Ashgrove Farm and our network of local suppliers. Key Responsibilities:  Specialized Cooking: Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within their assigned section (e.g., sauces, pastry, grill). Supervision and Training: Overseeing and training any junior chefs or commis chefs working in their section. Section Management: Ensuring the smooth operation of their kitchen station, including preparation, cooking, and plating. Quality Control: Maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene within their area. Inventory Management: Assisting with stock control and portion control to minimize waste. Teamwork: Collaborating with other chefs, including the sous chef and head chef, to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

We are looking for a friendly outgoing grill chef to join our small but fun friendly team. We serve American style fast food and cocktails in a street food environment in borough market. We are committed to the well being of our team and include good monthly tips as well as extra pension scheme, staff food and uniform. The right chef should have at least 6 months minimum experience as weekends can be very busy, interaction with customers is always necessary, so a good standard of English is essential. WHAT WE LOOK FOR: We are looking for an experienced (minimum 1 year in similar role) and ambitious Junior Sous Chef. The right candidate has a passion for leading a team through guidance and training. You should have passion for food and showcasing great ingredients. This is a Production based role, you will be supporting the Head and Sous Chef. Your job roles will include taking care of placing the food orders and ensuring that all produce is put away and stored correctly we use the best produce nature has to offer and have a top tier list of suppliers we take a lot of pride in ensuring were sourcing our food from ethical, responsible sources. You will also be expected in assisting on running the day to day operations as well as arguably the most important factor up keeping the high food standards and compliance. We make large quantities of fresh and filled pasta daily along with the sauces from the current menu which changes monthly to make sure were getting the best of the seasons.
