Jaba Construct is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Care / Support Workers on behalf of our client in Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while working with a supportive and professional team. About the Role You will be supporting vulnerable adults in residential/supported living settings, helping them to live independently while promoting dignity, respect, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities • Supporting individuals with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting), • Assisting with medication (where trained), • Supporting with daily living tasks and meal preparation, • Encouraging independence and community engagement, • Maintaining accurate care records, • Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures What We’re Looking For • Minimum 6 months experience in care/support work (preferred), • Compassionate, patient and professional attitude, • Good communication skills, • Right to work in the UK, • Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply), • Relevant training (Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Medication, etc.) Desirable (but not essential): • Experience in supported living, • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs What We Offer • Competitive hourly rates, • Flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends available), • Ongoing training and development, • Supportive management team, • Opportunity for consistent, ongoing work If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and want to join a growing staffing provider, we would love to hear from you.
