    Phase Homes is a new therapeutic residential children’s home in Milton Keynes, providing high-quality care for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). Our approach is rooted in the PACE model and a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework, supported by specialist psychological input. We are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and achieve positive outcomes. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations, and effective leadership of the staff team. Key Responsibilities • Support the Registered Manager in the operational management of the home, • Lead, motivate, and support the residential staff team, • Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and daily records are maintained to a high standard, • Promote safeguarding and ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and Ofsted requirements, • Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to staff, • Support the implementation of therapeutic and trauma-informed practice, • Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and external agencies, • Act as the Manager in their absence, including on-call responsibilities About You You will be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and confident in leading a team within a residential care setting. Essential Criteria: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a residential children’s setting as a deputy manager or experienced senior, • Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs, • Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation, • Ability to lead, support, and motivate staff, • Excellent communication and organisational skills, • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call Desirable Criteria: • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards Level 5), • Experience supporting inspections or regulatory compliance, • Supervisory or leadership experience What We Offer • Supportive leadership and management structure, • Ongoing training and professional development, • Opportunity to be part of a new, values-led organisation, • A therapeutic, child-centred working environment, • Opportunity to progress with the company Safeguarding Statement Phase Homes is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
