Mobile Cleaning Supervisor (6 Month FTC). Mobile Cleaning Supervisor (6 Month FTC) East Kilbride and Surrounding areas Permanent We are currently working alongside a leading Facilities Management Company to recruit Mobile Area Cleaning Supervisors to support cleaning contracts held across regions in the East Kilbride area. This is a great opportunity for a Cleaner to progress into a Supervisor role, or a current Supervisor to further develop their skills and experience. You would be responsible for managing a cleaning team dedicated to our extensive retail portfolio, building relationships internally and partnering with our customers to ensure the best possible service is delivered. Main Duties: Support and guide the cleaning team to achieve service levels Regular checks on cleaning standards in specified areas Respond to cleaning requests as required Manage and develop the team to encourage high morale and motivation Undertake site familiarisation with all new employees detailing cleaning regime, waste procedures, opening and lockup procedures, air lock door procedures. Class 1 HGV driver. Job Description Class 1 HGV driver. Qualified Class 1 HGV driver required for busy client delivering palletised goods throughout the UK. Must have valid and up to date cards. Requirement of CPC, Class 1 license and Digital Tachograph card. Must be able to communicate, read and write in English due to customer communication and paperwork requirements. No Loading and unloading duties within the role. Standard rate of pay is £10.51 per hour with a premium rate for overtime and overnight stays. Overnight stays will happen on average at 3 nights per month. This is a temp to perm role. That is after you complete 13 full weeks of satisfactory performance (546 worked hours) our client will look to take you on a permanent contract. Standard hours of work are 7am-4pm with some early starts of 5am and 6am. Friday is 7am-3.30pm. Total standard hours worked per week is 42 hours. About you You will have the relevant experience of driving class 1 HGV with all relevant and up to date certs. You will have a can do attitude and willing to work the fairly distributed shifts as and when required. You will be looking for a potentially long term and secure position to become settled within the role; as such our client are not looking for drivers who jump from job to job so if this is you please do not apply. Although loading and unloading is not a standard part of the job you will be expected to go the extra mile if unforeseen circumstance arises. You will be customer facing so will be well presented and pay attention to good personal health and safety standards and hygiene.
