Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across commercial premises. The successful candidate will ensure that assigned facilities are cleaned to a high professional standard, creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, kitchens, corridors, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries (soap, paper towels, tissue).
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Follow health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to management.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Lock and secure premises (if required).
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Previous experience in commercial cleaning (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic communication skills in English.
