Come and join our Cleaning Team working at The Grange Academy, Runcorn. You'll work as part of a team to help keep the school a safe and comfortable working and learning environment for students and staff. Hours: 16 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 3.00 pm to 6.15pm each day Hourly Rate: £21.21 per hour Key responsibilities as our Cleaner will include: • Vacuum carpeted areas of the building, • Mop and buff vinyl and /or hard floor areas of the building, • Clean toilet areas of the building, • Polish glass and brass work in the building, • Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points, • Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment, • Work in a safe manner, • Display appropriate signage, • Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues, • Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations Requirements: • Can work as part of a team and also independently, • Follows instructions and safety rules, • Organises and prioritises their work, • Attention to detail, • Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be funded by the Company.
