Come and join our Cleaning Team working at The Grange Academy, Runcorn. You'll work as part of a team to help keep the school a safe and comfortable working and learning environment for students and staff.
Hours:
16 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 3.00 pm to 6.15pm each day
Hourly Rate:
£21.21 per hour
Key responsibilities as our Cleaner will include:
- Vacuum carpeted areas of the building
- Mop and buff vinyl and /or hard floor areas of the building
- Clean toilet areas of the building
- Polish glass and brass work in the building
- Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points
- Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment
- Work in a safe manner
- Display appropriate signage
- Report defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues
- Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations
Requirements:
- Can work as part of a team and also independently
- Follows instructions and safety rules
- Organises and prioritises their work
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be funded by the Company. Applicants who are shortlisted will be required to complete an application form prior to interview.
