We are looking for experienced pizza chef with at least 2 years experience with Italian pizza. The ideal candidate needs to have proven experience with Italian pizzas (and pinzas) both gas and wood fire oven. We offer excellent salary between £16 and £17 plus cash tips per hour, pension, 43-45hours per week, paid holiday and weekends off on rotation. As a Chef de Partie, you would be working on a variety of stations. responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for the guests through preparation, cooking and food presentation. Takes leadership role during the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.. Must adhere to all sanitation regulations and requirements and also responsible for the correct handling and preparation of all food items and equipment. 1. Able to organise the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders., 2. Able to prepare and sells food within recommended time frames to meet Guest expectations., 3. Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers., 4. Able to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff., 5. Responsible to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area., 6. Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items by the recipe and to specification.

We're looking for an enthusiastic new souschef to join our team here at the greyhound sydenham As a Sous chef you will assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking meals and be able to work independently when Head Chef is away. You will adhere to strict health and safety procedures and ensure a clean and safe workspace. By becoming a part of the team you will be joining a reputable and growing hospitality chain. Your average day starts at 6am - an easy commute to West Dulwich is therefore imperative. You start the day baking focaccia, prepping sandwiches for both sites. Prep for lunch service (we make every thing fresh every day, small batches) and run service with a KP. You're out the door at 4pm! Occasional evenings for special events. You must have experience with dough, Italian food and a meat slicer. You must enjoy making simple recipes and following instructions. Our team is friendly and easy going but our standards are high. You will be trained to work alone in the kitchen the quieter breakfast service and in time will take on some busy lunch shifts as well. This is a simple operation but it requires great organisational skills, an ability to see the big picture and a real love for cooking.
