Northern Cleaning is seeking reliable and hardworking cleaning operatives for temporary student accommodation cleaning roles over a 2–3 month period. The primary responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in student rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, communal areas, and shared spaces. This position is ideal for individuals who are practical, dependable, and capable of working effectively within a team during peak cleaning periods. There is a potential opportunity for 1–2 temporary staff members to transition into a part-time permanent role upon completion of the temporary contract, contingent on performance, reliability, and future work availability. Main Duties: • Cleaning student bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, and communal areas, • Performing deep cleaning tasks after tenants have moved out, • Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and sanitising areas, • Removing rubbish and ensuring areas remain tidy, • Reporting any damage, maintenance issues, or missing items, • Working efficiently to meet cleaning deadlines, • Adhering to company standards and health & safety requirements Requirements: • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, • Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking, • Possess good attention to detail, • Able to work independently and as part of a team, • Flexible with working days and hours during busy periods, • Must be able to travel to the work location
