Delivery Driver – Bakery Deliveries & Route Development Company: Uncle John’s Bakery Location: Tottenham, North London Job Type: Full-Time About Us Uncle John’s Bakery is a well-established, family-run bakery with over 30 years of experience producing and supplying quality baked goods to retailers and businesses across the UK. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This is primarily a delivery driving position, but we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, builds strong customer relationships and is willing to go the extra mile to help develop their delivery route. Key Responsibilities • Deliver fresh bakery products safely, efficiently and on time to existing customers., • Manage and maintain an assigned delivery round, ensuring customers receive excellent service., • Build positive relationships with shop owners, retailers and existing customers., • Identify opportunities to increase orders and introduce our products to new businesses along the route., • Proactively approach potential customers when appropriate to help grow the round., • Load and unload products, checking orders for accuracy., • Handle delivery paperwork, invoices and payments where required., • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organised and roadworthy., • Communicate customer feedback, issues and potential sales opportunities to management., • Take ownership of the assigned round and contribute towards improving its performance. What We’re Looking For • A full, valid UK driving licence., • Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred., • Good knowledge of London roads and surrounding areas., • Excellent timekeeping, reliability and organisational skills., • Friendly, confident communication skills., • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative., • Someone comfortable speaking with shop owners and developing customer relationships., • Physically capable of loading and unloading bakery products., • A trustworthy individual who can work independently without constant supervision.
