Light on the common is a busy neighbourhood restaurant open daily from 7.30am serving breakfast lunch and dinner. we are looking for a talented barista to join our team. Light On The Common has have a deserved reputation of serving amazing coffee, with great service and amazing food. We are looking for a barista/ bar tender to join our team. You would work mainly day shifts but some evenings will be required. You must have a passion for great coffee, be punctual, hardworking, a team player and be prepared to help on the floor and bar if needed.

We can consider you for either shift or both Barista duties and responsibilities As a front-of-house employee, a Barista represents the brand and the culture of an establishment and provides clients with professional and friendly service. Their duties may include the following: • Grinding and brewing coffee, • Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees, • Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages, • Taking client orders and receiving payment, • Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers, • Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment, • Following health and safety guidelines, • Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders, • Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed, • Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures, • Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance, • The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, weekends and bank holidays, • Contributing to a positive work environment

We are looking for enthusiastic full-time and part-time Baristas for our Costa Franchise store New Addington (CR0 0JB) Thornton Heath (CR7 8LF) Candidates must have good verbal communication skills, be flexible and willing to learn a variety of skills. Previous Barista experience is essential.

Froth of the Daydream – Jazz Coffee & Wine Bar (Raynes Park, Wimbledon) About us We’re a relaxed, jazz-themed coffee and wine bar. During the day we focus on coffee, pastries, and light bites; evenings include wine and small plates, always with soft jazz in the background (YouTube mix). Your Role Coffee Service – Prepare espresso-based drinks. Food Prep – Simple sandwiches; warm items using the small oven and toaster. Atmosphere – Keep things friendly and welcoming, with a smooth flow of service. Equipment on Site Espresso Machine: Astoria Calypso (2-group). Grinder: Macap (set around 0.3 grind for espresso). Payments: Blinq contactless, plus Global Payments POS machine. Food Equipment: Small oven + toaster for heating / light prep. Tips Keep the bar area tidy

We are looking for someone who is friendly and bubbly. Be able to communicate well with customers. Job role is front of house. Including making drinks, serving, taking orders, cleaning front of house, taking payments. Helping the kitchen if necessary. Payment is made weekly Experience is preferred. Pay is according experience and level of service. 6 Days a week Tuesday to Sunday. You must be available on weekends. Immediate start.
