Job Title: Ramp Operative Department: Ramp Reports To: Operations Location: Diamond Hangar Hours: As per Contract (Average 12hrs) Date: 17th October 2025 Job Overview : As a Ramp Operative, you play a vital role in the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft. You’ll handle aircraft, baggage, cargo, and ground services to ensure on-time arrivals and departures. This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining strict safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Aircraft Handling: • Park Aircraft both on the Ramp and in the Hangar., • Chock, cone, tow, and push back aircraft safely following all operational procedures., • Operate and maintain ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts., • Support boarding and deplaning, providing professional and courteous service., • Load and unload baggage, cargo, and special items safely and efficiently., • Follow all company and aviation safety procedures., • Provide cover during peak periods or staff absences., • Work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays., • Work closely with operations, flight crews, and other departments to ensure efficient turnaround. Work Environment: This is a hands-on outdoor role requiring flexibility, stamina, and attention to detail. You’ll work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays, to support flight operations.
