Role purpose To care for all Young people and Children within the residential home and ensure that they are always safe, well cared for and that you are working collaboratively with these young people to achieve their goals. To assist and lead and management of the team in the smooth running of the home, ensuring that staff are well trained and can appropriately manage the behaviours of the residents and that there are suitable staff ratio’s on shift at all times. Main Duties -Inducting all new staff -Ensuring appropriate paperwork is in place for each resident including; Risk assessments, Care plans, Support plan etc. -Supporting and managing a team -Rota all staff on regular, predictable shift patterns - Aiding the Completion of Quality Assurance Documents - Staff development; arrange training for staff, probations and supervisions - Supporting the QA visits (joint task) - Liaising with external professionals - Attend LAC and other professional meetings - Maintaining the daily write-ups and logs Initial Setup of Norbury Park -Ensure that the residence is registered and compliant with all necessary regulation services.
