£16–£18 per hour | Full-time | Mainly 12:00–23:00 shifts Location: Notting Hill, London We are seeking a confident and experienced Sous Chef to play a key leadership role in our kitchen, as we continue to redefine our concept under Jackson Boxer. This is a hands-on role for a chef who thrives in fast-paced service, leads from the front, and is passionate about delivering exceptional food with consistency and precision. What You’ll Do • Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth operations, • Take control of the pass during busy services, maintaining standards under pressure, • Oversee inventory, ordering, and stock management, • Ensure all records, HACCP, temperatures, and compliance are up to date, • Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs, building a strong kitchen culture, • Collaborate with FOH to deliver a seamless guest experience, • Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For • Strong experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a busy restaurant, • Proven ability to manage high-volume services and the pass, • Solid knowledge of food safety, allergens, and kitchen compliance systems, • Experience with GP, labour cost control, and rotas, • Natural leadership skills with a calm, solution-driven mindset, • Passion for modern, ingredient-led cooking (Mexican experience a plus, not essential), • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends What We Offer • Work within a forward-thinking kitchen under a leading London chef, • Opportunity to grow within a dynamic and expanding group, • Staff meals and drinks on shift, • Four-Weekly pay, • Performance-based incentives and bonuses, • Staff dining discounts, • Pension scheme, • Ongoing training and development, • Direct support from senior leadership
