As a vital member of the back-of-house staff, you’ll ensure the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, supporting chefs, and keeping equipment and work areas organized and hygienic. Key Responsibilities • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently., • Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and free from hazards at all times., • Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required. Requirements • Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment preferred (but not essential)., • Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude., • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot, and busy environment.

Key responsibilities: • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment., • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required by the chefs., • Ensure work surfaces, storage areas, and kitchen floors are clean and hygienic., • Handle deliveries, unpack supplies, and store ingredients correctly., • Support chefs with stock rotation and waste management to maintain high food safety standards., • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Skills and Qualities: • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene., • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking., • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure., • Good teamwork and communication skills, • Willingness to learn and take direction., • Physically fit and able to handle standing for long periods and light lifting.
