We are looking for a confident, motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will help customers understand our products, guide them through their options and build strong relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Key Responsibilities • Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner., • Understand each customer’s requirements, style preferences and budget., • Explain our bespoke and made-to-measure suit options, fabrics, materials and technology., • Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs., • Manage enquiries from new and existing customers by phone, email, online channels and in person., • Generate new sales opportunities and follow up with potential customers., • Build long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat business and referrals., • Work towards individual and company sales targets., • Maintain accurate customer and sales information., • Work closely with the tailoring and production team to ensure customers receive an excellent service from initial consultation through to completion. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is confident, enthusiastic and enjoys speaking with people. Previous sales experience is preferred, particularly within fashion, tailoring, luxury retail or customer service, although full training can be provided to the right person. PART-TIME FRAGRANCE SALES ASSISTANT Gulf Perfumery is an independent Arabian perfume boutique based in Walthamstow, East London. We are looking for a confident, reliable and trustworthy Sales Assistant to join our growing business. Working hours: • Wednesday to Friday, • 12:00pm–7:00pm, • 21 hours per week, • £13 per hour The role includes: • Welcoming customers and helping them discover suitable fragrances, • Explaining scent notes and demonstrating perfumes, • Managing perfume testers and maintaining an organised testing experience, • Preparing iced coffee and matcha drinks, • Processing card and cash payments, • Monitoring stock levels, • Keeping the shop clean, presentable and secure, • Opening and closing the store when required, • Creating occasional social-media content during quieter periods We are looking for someone who: • Is confident, friendly and comfortable approaching customers, • Has strong sales and customer-service skills, • Is responsible, punctual and trustworthy, • Can work independently without constant supervision, • Maintains professional boundaries with customers, • Is genuinely interested in perfume, beauty or luxury retail, • Is comfortable appearing in occasional social-media content, • Has previous retail or sales experience Knowledge of Arabian fragrances is helpful but not essential, as product training will be provided. Logistics & Distribution: Maintain close relationships with delivery drivers, utilize warehouse knowledge, and support the warehouse team during peak periods. When necessary, step in to drive the delivery van to ensure customer orders are delivered strictly on time. What We Are Looking For: A fast learner with a strong commercial acumen and full account management capabilities.Industry Passion: Deep knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer is essential. If you have formal BWS certifications, that is fantastic—but if you do not have the paperwork and instead possess massive product confidence and the ability to tell a captivating brand story, we absolutely want to hear from you. Logistics Flexibility: A valid driving licence is highly advantageous for driving the company van to cover staff shortages and critical deliveries.
