You will be trained and will learn several new skills to add to your skillset. Someone who has experience in car paint spraying, bath resurfacing, bath re enamelling, refinishing and restoration. Although this is not vital but someone who is familiar with handiwork and using tools well. Experience in HVLP spraying systems You will be resurfacing a bath just like you would respray a car or garage etc The job can also consist of cosmetic repairs, hard surface repairs on bathroom fixtures, glass, marble, french polishing, wood repairs, UPVC repairs and other worktop like surfaces. We are a repairs company based in London. We service all over London, Essex and Hertfordshire, Cambridge, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Glasgow. We are looking for Low Voltage or High Voltage Electrical Construction Fitters to join our team in Southern England! This is an excellent opportunity where you will be working in a team responsible for constructing electrical apparatus within substations on the electricity distribution network from 11kV up to 132kV. Key responsibilities will include: - Safe delivery of construction projects in live electricity substation environments in line with operational safety rules and safety legislation. This will also include emergency response to fault scenarios. - Installing and commissioning new CT Metering apparatus. - Delivering great customer service when speaking with our customers and keeping them updated. What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: - Knowledge of the electricity distribution network and experience of working in live electricity substation environments from 11kV - 132kV. - Previous experience will include working on DC battery systems, internal panel wiring modification, multicore cable terminating and glanding, wiring circuit breakers, CT's/VT's to marshalling kiosks and control panels, AC/DC wiring and replacing 33kV outdoor circuit breakers and isolators. - A high regard for safety (especially on construction sites), comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations and strong customer service skills - Previous electricity network operational authorisations would be extremely beneficial as would training and qualifications in scaffold, telehandler, furzeweld, working at heights, confined space, asbestos, COSHH, Loler and SMSTS.
