Parkland Motors is expanding its workshop team and seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to deliver high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of vehicle makes and models. Key responsibilities • Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs, • Perform vehicle health checks and identify potential issues, • Repair brakes, suspension, exhausts, engine components, and other systems, • Use diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes, • Undertake engine repairs and potential rebuilds, • Complete all work accurately and efficiently, • Maintain workshop tools and equipment, • Keep clear and accurate job records Requirements • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or in a similar role; a minimum of one year is preferred, • Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop, • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship, • Relevant technical qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance, are preferred, • A full UK driving licence is preferred, • Ability to commute reliably or relocate before starting work This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required. The role is based in person.
