Duties - Open the gazebo and set up the stall first time in the morning. - Check deliveries and be sure that everything needed for the day is available. - Follow opening checks and procedures. - Prepare food items (chop vegs and prepare rice) in accordance with health and safety regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food stall, including kitchen equipment and utensils. - Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. - Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while promoting menu items through upselling techniques. - Be organised and manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. - Adhere to food safety standards to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours. - Check stock and report to the owner. Qualifications - Previous experience in street food or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. - Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. - Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations. - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. - Able to work outdoors under any kind of weather. - Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to interact effectively with customers and team members. - Spanish language would be an advantage.
