Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations from our catering trailer. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation, ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating events, and maintaining exceptional service quality in both hotel and restaurant settings.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the catering team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Supervise food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with clients to design customised catering menus that meet their specific needs and preferences.
Coordinate logistics for catering events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Train and mentor staff in food production techniques, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
Ensure that all catering services are delivered with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a catering management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
Strong skills in food preparation and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of effective team management.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food production processes within hotel or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
