As a key member of our household staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the impeccable standards of the residence. The position requires working 6 days a week for about 5-6 hours a day, starting from 8 am, in a live-out arrangement.
However, flexibility in working hours and days is necessary.
Responsibilities:
· Clean and maintain the employer's house, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing and drying dishes and putting them away.
· Assist with meal preparation including help in chopping vegetables, preparing meals, and general helping in the kitchen including serving breakfast, lunch and serving meals for the employers on the dining table or any guest visiting the house.
· Perform laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes
· Assist the employer sometimes with grocery shopping and running errands
· Perform other household tasks, such as watering plants, etc
· Ensure that the house is secured before leaving the premises.
Requirements:
· Physical Fitness: The domestic helper should be physically fit to perform tasks
· Housekeeping Skills: The domestic helper must have good housekeeping skills, excellent eye for detail.
· Communication Skills: The domestic helper should have good communication skills to interact with the employer and family members. They should be able to communicate effectively in English
· Trustworthiness: The domestic helper should be trustworthy and honest. They will have access to the employer's home and personal belongings, so trust is essential.
· Patience: The domestic helper should have patience and be able to handle stressful situations.
· Flexibility: The domestic helper should be flexible and willing to work on weekends, holidays, or outside of regular working hours if required.
· Be Discreet
· Previous Experience: Previous experience as a domestic helper or in a related field such as housekeeping is an advantage but not necessary.
