Pasta chef needed for a busy independent Italian restaurant. MUST have an experience with Italian cuisine ! The successful candidate will be working alongside our Head Chef and will cover the pasta and starter section when needed. MUST have an experience with Italian cuisine and be able to work unfer pressure and handle busy environments.

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, working closely with the team to help with food service, ordering, minimising wastage, team management Etc all the while ensuring high-quality dishes are served in the business. Duties:- Oversee food production and maintain high standards of food quality- Create and develop innovative menu items within the team- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards- Collaborate with the team to provide excellent customer service- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment doing the cooking and washing up on quieter days Skills:- Proven experience in a similar role within the culinary industry- Strong leadership and team management skills- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment- Proficiency in supervising kitchen operations and ensuring quality control- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations- Creative flair for menu development and presentation We are a small pub well known for good food. It is a small kitchen with one KP and another chef. Hours would be on average 40 a week at a pay of £15 per hour with a potential for more as the business grows. Working days would be Monday, Tuesday OFF Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday on. Please note there will be just one person working on Mondays to Thursdays in the kitchen and this chef role would require the person to cook and do the washing up and cleaning.
