We’re hiring a strong CDP ready to step up at our original Stoke Newington site.


This is a small, busy kitchen with a big reputation for fresh, homemade food. You’ll often be working solo or with one other chef, so confidence and organisation are essential.


This role is ideal for someone who wants more responsibility, more ownership, and a clear path to running a kitchen.


What you’ll do

  • Run your section during service (often independently)
  • Prep from scratch to spec – consistently and efficiently
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and under control
  • Help improve systems, prep structure, and day-to-day organisation
  • Communicate clearly with FOH (open kitchen environment)

What we’re looking for

  • Strong CDP (or ambitious Commis ready to step up)
  • Comfortable working alone or in a very small team
  • Fast, organised, and detail-focused
  • Takes pride in clean, tidy, well-run kitchens
  • Shows initiative – doesn’t wait to be told everything
  • Wants to grow into a leadership role over time

Bonus points

  • Brunch / fresh food experience
  • Experience improving systems or running sections properly
  • Local to Stoke Newington / wants to be part of a neighbourhood spot
