We’re looking for a talented, creative, and hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen at La-Yam — a unique rooftop venue in the heart of Holborn. La-Yam is a daytime café and co-working space for local professionals, transforming into a vibrant rooftop bar and events venue in the evenings and weekends. Our food is fresh, bold, and designed for sharing — inspired by Mediterranean and modern healthy cuisine. This is a key role with real ownership, combining events, daytime dining, and evening service. What you’ll be responsible for: • Curating and delivering events menus (platters, canapés, bowl food), • Developing and executing a Sunday BBQ / roast offering, • Leading the evening menu service (3pm–9pm), • Designing a healthy, nutritious lunch buffet for weekday professionals, • Creating a small bites / sharing menu aligned with the rooftop bar concept, • Managing kitchen operations, suppliers, and food costs, • Building systems for consistency, speed, and quality We’re looking for someone who: • Has strong experience in events catering, sharing concepts, or modern casual dining, • Is both creative and commercially aware, • Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-offering environment, • Is organised, proactive, and takes full ownership of the kitchen, • Wants to be part of building a brand from the ground up What we offer: • Full creative input across multiple food concepts, • A unique rooftop working environment in central London, • The opportunity to shape and grow with the business, • Competitive salary (based on experience) 📍 Holborn, London 🕒 Monday–Friday + weekends (events & Sunday concept) If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
